About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed with JV Furniture through www.jvfurniture.co. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Ordering

  • You must be 18 or over to place an order.
  • We deliver to the countries listed on our Delivery & Returns page (https://www.jvfurniture.co/pages/delivery-returns).
  • Your order is an offer to buy. The contract between us is made when we email you to confirm your order.
  • If we can't supply an item you've ordered, we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid for it.

Our products

  • Our furniture is handmade from natural materials. Variation in grain, tone and finish is normal and isn't a fault.
  • We take care that photos and descriptions are accurate, but colours can look different on different screens.
  • Every product page shows whether a piece is in stock or made to order.

Prices and payment

  • The price of each item is shown on its product page. Prices include VAT.
  • Delivery is charged per item and is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout.
  • If we find a mistake in a price after you've ordered, we'll contact you. You can then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Delivery

In-stock pieces usually arrive within 3–5 working days. Made-to-order pieces are made once you order, so please allow up to 16 weeks. These times are estimates. Full details are in our Shipping policy (https://www.jvfurniture.co/policies/shipping-policy).

Cancelling, returns and faulty items

You can cancel your order and return an item within 14 days of the day after it was delivered. If anything is damaged or isn't right, tell us within 2 working days of delivery. Full details are in our Refund policy (https://www.jvfurniture.co/policies/refund-policy).

Our responsibility to you

  • We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If that happens, we'll tell you as soon as we can.
  • Our furniture is sold for home use. We are not responsible for business losses.
  • We do not exclude or limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so.

Using this website

The content of this website belongs to JV Furniture or is used with permission. Please don't copy it for commercial use or misuse the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this website when you place it.

Law

These terms are governed by Irish law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
